Job Summary

O’Neill Insurance is looking for a part-time or full-time Marketing Director to oversee the organization’s marketing program. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to continue to strengthen the company’s market presence and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, and able to employ unique marketing techniques and strategies to drive creativity.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities
  • Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy, including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new services, etc.
  • Produce valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications including digital newsletters
  • Work closely with the company’s sales team, enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Manage and maintain website content and align content to SEO strategy and SEO management
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field is preferred, but not required
  • Copywriting and graphic design experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, etc.) and Google Adwords (Data driven, meaning they utilize the analytics to inform the strategy)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
