Job Summary

The Personal Risk Advisor is responsible for generating new personal insurance clients from prospecting and lead generation, to closing the sale. The ability to network and develop strategic partners is instrumental for your success.  As a producer, you will become a trusted advisor to clients through insurance plans and solutions designed specifically for your prospects and clients.

Responsibilities:

New Sales:

  • Generate leads and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic relationships and LinkedIn.
  • Prequalify insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk
  • Design insurance programs specific to clients’ needs
  • Prepare proposals and make sales presentation to prospective clients
  • Close accounts

Retention of Current Clients:

  • Work with current clients to review coverage annually or as needed
  • Cross-sell or up-sell based on needs of client
  • Maintain relationships of existing clients and coverages to reach a set retention goal

Personal and Organizational Development:

  • Participate in sales meetings
  • Identify market trends to improve overall marketing strategy
Requirements:
  • Insurance license must be obtained within first 30 days of employment
  • Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with prospects, clients, and carriers.
